Vincent All description

Welcome to my auction !
I am now stocking the finest quality Vincent wiring loom (harness) you will find.
This harness is made with copper wire and is covered with cloth braiding to insure your Vincent has the proper look & function.
Why try to make your own loom from modern looking wire from the hardware store, when you can buy the correct wiring product ready made & it really looks the part?
This loom is American made by a craftsman in the industry & the wire connectors have been properly crimped & soldered to insure a long life & excellent conductivity.
There will be some terminals that must be re-used from your original harness, but if you view the photos I have included, you will see the entire harness & the provided connectors.
I have also included the cable that travels from the starter switch to the starter solenoid for those who have added an electric leg to their mighty Vincent.
This loom is designed for the Series B & Series C Vincent motorcycles.

If you are not completely thrilled by this harness, please return it for a "no quibble" full refund, that's how sure I am you will love the quality of this loom.
Please be sure to see the many other
unique vintage motorcycle items I carry including
a number of Vincent specific items.

Behind the “Bathing Suit” Picture

Fri, 09 Jan 2009

Few motorcycle photographs are as iconic as that of the famous Bonneville “Bathing Suit Picture.” While you have undoubtedly seen this image before, you may not know the story behind it. The scantily clad and debatably crazy rider was a man by the name of Roland “Rollie” Free. The bike, often thought by many to be a Vincent Black Shadow, was in fact a Black Lightning – the fastest Vincent ever to see production.
