This record comes from a group of about 400 LPs I recently acquired in Staten Island. The owner's father was of that rare generation that was into 60's rock and kept collecting records until the early 80's and Punk/New Wave. So the collection has everything from Love's classic Forever Changes to Fear and the Dead Kennedys! Most of the records are in great shape and there's some true rarities in there... Be sure to check my other listings for more records on sale from this one-of-a-kind collection this week!

About me: I'm a longtime 60's rock/R'n'B DJ and collector. I've been eBaying since 1999, but in 2016 I turned my hobby of buying record collections into a business! I love records THAT much. I grade my records based on how I would BUY them, not how I want to sell them.

Payment:
PayPal. Required within 7 days of auction close or your order is cancelled and I will relist the item.

Take a look at my other listings this week for more vinyl goodies!

GRADING (Done visually, based on Goldmine)

Near Mint (NM or M-)
The record should show no obvious signs of wear and will be glossy/shiny. A sleeve should have no more than the most minor defects, such as almost invisible ring wear or other signs of slight handling. No cracks, scratches or warps.

Excellent (EX or VG++)
One or two light marks visible on the disc at most, otherwise full gloss. No cracks, scratches or warps. Sleeve shows 1-2 marks, nothing too major, maybe at the edges.

Very Good Plus (VG+)
A Very Good Plus record will show some signs that it was played and otherwise handled.

Record surfaces may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experiences. Maybe also slight warps that do not affect the sound.

Sleeves will have some slight wear, lightly bent corners, or a slight seam split.

Very Good (VG)
Surface noise will be evident upon playing, especially in soft passages and during the intro and fade, but will not overpower the music otherwise. Groove wear will start to be noticeable, as with scratches (deep enough to feel with a fingernail) that will affect the sound.

Labels may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers (or their residue) attached. The same will be true of picture sleeves or LP covers.

Good (G), Good Plus (G+)
A record in Good or Good Plus condition can be put onto a turntable and will play through without skipping. But it will have significant surface noise, scratches and groove wear. Tape, writing, seam splits, ring wear or other defects will start to overwhelm the object.

What's Included With Your Record Purchase
Please read my description thoroughly. The only items included with your purchase are the ones described in the listing. If something is not mentioned in the description, it is probably not included with the item (for example, original inner sleeves, inserts, posters, etc). If you're not sure, send me a message.
I ship all records in new, sturdy mailers with cardboard filler pads. I separate the discs from the sleeves to avoid damage during shipping. I pack the covers in new thin plastic sleeves and the discs in new white paper sleeves

Behind the “Bathing Suit” Picture

Fri, 09 Jan 2009

Few motorcycle photographs are as iconic as that of the famous Bonneville “Bathing Suit Picture.” While you have undoubtedly seen this image before, you may not know the story behind it. The scantily clad and debatably crazy rider was a man by the name of Roland “Rollie” Free. The bike, often thought by many to be a Vincent Black Shadow, was in fact a Black Lightning – the fastest Vincent ever to see production.

The New Age Of Custom Motorcycles – Video

Mon, 26 Aug 2013

In a world where modern motorcycles are full of computers, sensors and plastic, there are still those folks who yearn for the days of yore. A time when motorcycles were made of metal and you used a wrench — not a keyboard — to make your bike go faster. Careful and skilled craftsmanship, along with independent thinking, is a mark of pride among these men and their machines, some of whom are featured in the video below by Gestalten.tv.
