Vincent All description

This auction is for 2 Books,  in good condition, read, with dust jackets. The titles included in this lot are as follows:

Sin, Sex and Self-Control by Norman Vincent Peale (1965) HardCover

Suburbia's Coddled Kids by Peter Wyden (1962) HardCover

All of my auctions come from either collections I'd bought over the years or are duplicates coming from my personal collection.   As stated, these books are in good condition, have been read, with dust jackets. The dust jackets show wear and tear, however, the pages are in great shape, clean and crisp, especially for how old the book is.

As for my rates, I charge a flat $2.00 for shipping and ship via the US Postal Service.  I will also gladly combine shipping for multiple auctions.

I only accept Paypal, and payment is expected within 7 days of the end of the auction. Unless payment is received, or some arrangement made, I will re-post the item(s) and negative feedback will be given.

PLEASE DO NOT HESITATE TO EMAIL ME WITH ANY QUESTIONS

THANK YOU VERY MUCH!! AND PLEASE CHECK OUT THE MANY OTHER LOTS POSTED!!!

A time when motorcycles were made of metal and you used a wrench — not a keyboard — to make your bike go faster. Careful and skilled craftsmanship, along with independent thinking, is a mark of pride among these men and their machines, some of whom are featured in the video below by Gestalten.tv.

Record Breaking Vincent Black Shadow Is Top Seller At Bonhams Auction

Mon, 29 Apr 2013

A fully restored, ex-works 1952 Vincent Black Shadow was the top selling motorcycle at the Bonhams auction, held at the International Classic Motorcycle Show at the Staffordshire County Showground on Sunday, April 28, selling for £113,500 (US $176,341 after premiums). This Black Shadow was part of the factory’s bid to set a new 24-hour speed record at Montlhéry in France in May 1952. Mechanical troubles prevented that from happening, but the team still came away with eight records, including six hours at over 100 mph.
