VERY HARD TO FIND IS THIS VINTAGE WORK OF ART HETTIER & VINCENT FRENCH  NICKEL PLATED BRONZE WITH MOLDED PRESSED GLASS SHADE WALL SCONCE, SHIPPED FROM FRANCE!.  6" LONG X 4 1/2" WIDE X 9" DEPTH.  FLORAL DECOR.  HETTIER & VINCENT IS A WELL KNOWN FRENCH LIGHTING COMPANY AND THEIR FIXTURES ARE VERY RARE AND SOUGHT AFTER.  THIS ONE IS PROBABLY FROM THE 1930'S.  THE TAG READS THE SCONCE IS SIGNED.  I CAN NOT FIND WHERE IT IS SIGNED, SO I REALLY DO NOT KNOW IF IT IS TRULY SIGNED.  THE SHADE IS NOT IN PERFECT CONDITION, BUT IT STILL LOOKS AMAZING.   NEEDS TO BE WIRED.  GREAT DETAIL!   PLEASE REVIEW ALL PICTURES AND ASK QUESTIONS PRIOR TO BIDDING AS THERE ARE NO RETURNS.  SOLD IN THE "AS SEEN CONDITION"  UNIQUE AND VERY SPECIAL IS THIS FABULOUS SCONCE!  THANK YOU FOR LOOKING AND PLEASE TAKE A LOOK AT MY OTHER LISTINGS.

The MotoGP circus moves into it's tenth appearance at the Estoril circuit, with the Portugease circuit playing host to a Grand Prix event in each of the previous nine years since the introduction of the four-stroke MotoGP formula at in 2002. Below is a reminder of the highlights of the previous nine MotoGP races held at Estoril: 2002 – Having won the last 500cc GP race at Estoril in 2001, Valentino Rossi (Honda) won the first of the MotoGP races held at the circuit. This was a race that was run in very wet conditions and Sete Gibernau had led for most of the race only to crash out with four laps to go.

The upcoming Bonhams Banbury Run Sale is set to be a motorcycle enthusiast’s dream, with 102 lots of iconic bikes available to the highest bidder. Within the sale, an intriguing duo of Brough Superiors will be offered for auction from a family synonymous with motorcycles for generations – Myerscough. The motoring history behind the Myerscough family began in 1893 when Leonard Myerscough opened a business repairing and selling bicycles, followed by motorcycles and automobiles. At the peak of this business, five locations serviced the Liverpool area under the banner L Myerscough & Sons Ltd. Encouraged by his father, the eldest son, Len Jr, took up dirt track racing in the late 1920s, enjoying success as a contracted team rider for both the Belle Vue Aces and Preston teams from 1928 to 1931.
