For Sale is a great 1973 Yamaha DT 250 motorcycle. Barn find original survivor!!! This was converted to a MX bike at some point early on, someone removed the endure lights and low metal front fender, also added aftermarket performance exhaust for motocross racing. Has the MX fork brace and original vintage silver plastic MX front fender with mud flap. Looks to be complete except for clutch lever. Bike isn't perfect and has some dings, dents, marks, scuffs, scratches, etc. from use and storage, but overall decent original condition as seen in pics. A little Dirty and dusty from spending the last 30+ years tucked away in a barn! Gas Tank paint is dirty but still shiny! Engine is free, kicks over with lots of compression. Tires even still hold air! Shouldn't take much to get this bike going again! Great candidate for restoration or vintage race bike. Great winter project! Hard to find in this original untouched condition. Priced to move fast. Bikes in similar or worse condition have recently sold for $1000+. Due to the age and mechanical nature of this item it is being sold as-is, in as found condition with no warranties said or implied. Will be sold with Bill of Sale only. Local pick up in Lansing, Mi area or may be willing to deliver/ meet part way for pick up for a small fee if pre arranged with seller before bidding. The event takes place today, Friday, November, 18th. More from Yamaha on the food drop: Each year, Yamaha’s employees donate monies on a monthly basis for “Feed The Children blue jean Friday” which raises enough each year to support a tractor trailer semi truck loaded with food and hygiene products for local Orange County residents in need.

Day 9 Dakar 2014: Coma Wins, Increases Overall Lead

Sand and dunes challenged the athletes especially in the final third of the stage, demanding excellent navigation skills.
