Yamaha DT125 description

1978 YAMAHA DT125.
I rescued this bike out of a mans cellar last week. He bought it for his some to ride back and forth to school in the early 80s. It was ridden a few years and then parked inside. It has been preserved very well as you can see. The bike still has good fork boots and little to no rust on chrome. see pics. The motor turns over but we have not tried to get it running. The bike looks to be original. It is missing the ignition switch and the rear light assembly. This bike is the cleanest original I have seen in a really long time. Overall bike is nice for an original. It is sold as is where is. Not title. No title. No title. NO TITLE. I will write the buyer a Bill Of Sale. See pics for condition. What you see on bike in pics is what comes with it. No more No Less. Bike is sold as is where is WITH NO TITLE. Buyer must arrange pickup in Dunn NC 28334. Buyer responsible for all shipping arrangements and charges. Ask questions BEFORE you buy. After you buy is no time for questions. Bike must be removed within 30 days of auction end. I will be unavailable for pickup during the first 2 weeks of September. It will need to be before or after that. Buyer must pay for bike within 3 days of auction end. No exceptions. Questions? Call Billy at Tired Iron Classics at 252-565-2212. Thanks and dnot miss out on this awesome find!!!

Mon, 29 Sep 2014

In a time where air-cooled icons like Harley-Davidson, Indian, BMW‘s boxer engine and the Ducati Monster have all embraced the radiator, it’s a bit surprising to know Yamaha is still offering the XJR1300 in Europe. Featuring the world’s largest-displacement air-cooled Inline-Four engine in production, the XJR1300 lives on in 2015 with a new custom-inspired look and a cafe racer variant. The 2015 XJR1300 was inspired by a custom from builder Keino called “Rhapsody in Blue” as part of Yamaha’s Yard Built program.
