Yamaha DTR description

I am leaving Vietnam in the coming months as my internship at the Danish Embassy is coming to an end.
Hence I am selling my beloved bike.

Bought and serviced by Minh Tan (Dirt Bike Mechanic in Ho Chi Minh City)

- Excellent condition - Manufacturing year 1992 - Japan
- 6 Gears - Good fuel consumption
- Oil pump - No need to mix fuel and petrol
- 200cc 2-stroke engine - 35 BHP - Brand new piston imported from USA (Broken in with low revs over 1000 miles)
- Front and rear disk brakes
- Functioning speedo
- Frame mounted oil reservoir for easy access

- Full Face Helmet Included.
- Bolt on/off metal piece for use when saddlebags are required, (shields the bag from the hot exaust).

For me it has been a good size bike for the city, with a high riding position and a beautiful sound.

Team Hammer Releases Martin Cardenas

Fri, 04 Jan 2013

AMA Pro Racing’s Team Hammer has released Martin Cardenas from his contract to allow the reigning AMA Daytona Sportbike Champion “to better pursue his goal of returning to World Championship competition as soon as possible.” Though the eventual goal appears to be for Cardenas to move up to the World Superbike Championship, rumors have Cardenas landing with the Yoshimura Suzuki factory team to race in the AMA Superbike Championship in 2013 as an eventual stepping stone towards international racing. Cardenas won the 2010 and 2012 AMA Daytona Sportbike championships with Team Hammer riding a Suzuki GSX-R600. Team Hammer held a contract option for Cardenas for the 2013 season but decided to release the Colombian racer, allowing him to take a different route towards a WSBK career.

Retirement is rife but thankfully not for Vale

Thu, 15 Nov 2012

The racing season may be over but the winter nights will surely fly by as we watch reviews, debate events of 2012 racing and relish the excitement that lays ahead in 2013. Unfortunately retirement seems to be popular right now so with major names leaving BSB, WSB and Moto GP things will never quite be the same. I’m still in shock that Casey Stoner has decided to head back home for a spot of fishing.

Yamaha Motiv – A Car From The Tuning Fork Company

Wed, 20 Nov 2013

According to reports from the Tokyo Motor Show Yamaha has announced preliminary plans to produce the Motiv, a lightweight, two-seater similar to a Smart car. The Motiv is apparently based on Gordon Murray Design‘s T25 and T27 concept cars and will apparently use Murray’s iStream assembly process. Sources say the vehicle is targeted for the European market and will be available in both electric as well as fossil fuel versions.
