Yamaha FJ600 description

Here is a nice Yamaha FJ600 vintage sport bike, it runs very nice and rides great with very nice power.

I am going to install new fork seals and steering head bearings and will have a full service.

Tires are older but still good for a season of riding.

I used to race one of these bikes and the later ones as well and a FZ750 5v these were amazing machines, wish I still had my 85 FZ750.

When Yamaha announced its new R1 literbike last fall, company reps told us about the tractability assets of its new, MotoGP-derived crossplane crankshaft for the four-cylinder engine. It’s unique in that cylinders fire 90-degrees apart, allegedly enabling better grip during acceleration. A byproduct of this design is an exhaust note that is distinctive in this world of cookie-cutter designs.

Intermot 2012: 2013 Yamaha FZ8 Announced

Along with the announcement of the updated 2013 FJR1300A, Yamaha also announced that its naked middleweight roadster, the FZ8, has received a handful of updates for 2013. Key among the modest improvements is revised EFI programming for smoother, snappier throttle response, and front suspension is now full adjustability. The fork has new preload and rebound adjustments atop the fork legs, while a new compression damping adjuster is located at the bottom of the fork.
