The FJR is a Sport Touring bike that includes shaft drive, electrically adjustable windshield, detachable saddlebags, plenty of power, excellent handling and excellent brakes. This AE version has no clutch lever due to its sophisticated electronic clutch - you still shift gears, but you don't operate the clutch. Snow riding and my new LC

I reckon the only thing to do when the snow comes is to get on a bike and my weapon of choice is usually a Yamaha TTR 125. I’ve had TTRs in the garage now for around eight years after Raceways Yamaha in Fleetwood put some on offer for just £900 and apart from a few broken spokes and worn out gearbox sprockets they have been indestructible. One of the two has an electric start and incredibly starts as easily as the day I took delivery.

A drop in net sales, an appreciating yen and the fallout from the March 11 earthquake and tsunamis in Japan contributed to a 4.6% drop in profit for Yamaha Motor Co. over the second quarter of 2011. Over the quarter ended June 30, 2011, Yamaha saw a 5.9% drop in net sales compared to the same period in 2010.Yamaha reports sales of 344.5 billion yen (US$4.48 billion) over the second quarter, compared to the 366.3 billion yen (US$4.77 billion) reported in the same quarter in 2010.
