Yamaha FJR tech info
Yamaha FJR description
Hello.
I have available here a 2012 Yamaha FJR1300A.
FULL DISCLAIMER: Motor has internal damage (unknown). The oil drain plug
fell out and internal engine damage resulted. Yeah, I know. Argh! Motor does run, but makes
severe noise.
This would be perfect for someone who has a wrecked FJR, with an
otherwise good motor.
Overall the bike is in excellent condition with just over 20,000 miles
showing. The bike is completely stock with no physical damage of any kind, other
than your minimal blemishes as expected with 20,000 miles of use. I put paint
protection clear "Mylar" plastic on the bike. ALL
functions/electronics/accessories are 100%.
The bike has NEW Continental Coni-motion tires and Battery. Average Kelly Blue Book & NADA Guide is $9500. I've seen motors on E-bay from $500 to $1500. I simply do not have the time or means to replace the motor and I've already replaced the bike with another FJR1300.
Spec's:
Color- Blue.
Heated grips
Electric windshield
Luggage/Hard cases.
Tool bag under seat. Bike is for sale locally, so I reserve the right to end the auction early. Questions? Please ask. Please check my Feedback. I say what I mean. I mean what I say. Thank you |

Yamaha Names Olivier Pain and Michael Metge to 2015 Dakar Team
Fri, 23 May 2014Yamaha has retained Olivier Pain and Michael Metge to race for its official factory team in the 2015 Dakar Rally. Pain and Metge will ride a new WR450F Rally currently being developed for the 2015 rally. Both riders raced for the Yamaha team in this year’s rally; Pain finished third overall behind KTM Red Bull team’s Marc Coma and Jordi Viladoms while Metge rode as a support rider for fourth-place finisher Cyril Despres.
Just for a moment; leading the British GP
Tue, 12 Jun 2012Cal Crutchlow’s early exit at his home Moto GP last year meant we didn’t get to see his awesome potential at Silverstone. His two WSB race wins there in 2010 were pretty special as he dominated on the factory Yamaha R1, not least as he used some alternative lines and every inch of the track along the way. With his form matching the world's best in every event this year, on paper, this weekend should be his best chance so far to secure a podium or maybe even (making the dream come true!) take the first major class win in three decades.
