Yamaha's FZ1's engine, transmission & brakes are based on the fuel
injected 2nd generation R1 superbike-- so this thing is a rocket, with a
more upright stance and civilized power delivery-- a gentleman's sport
bike. Adjustable front and rear suspension
Engine puts out nearly 150hp-- more than many cars! You are unlikely to find the torque or power lacking . . . ever Upgraded Rizoma handlebars, Rizoma LED turn signals (front & back), CRG levers, frame sliders, upgraded touring windshield. Bike has MIVV Carbon fiber GP style exhaust installed, and the stock Yamaha exhaust will come with it. Also includes 2 detachable soft panniers, and 1 pillion bag by Nelson-Rigg/ Fieldsheer. This motorcycle has been well cared for, always parked indoors, brand new rear tire, front has about 1500 miles; fork seals replaced 2months ago; brand new battery. The previous owner was a cop who maintained it well, and miles are all highway miles. First purchased in 2010. Ready for summer! Clean title in hand. KBB estimate: $5600, NADA: $6300. By setting the 2nd fastest lap in race one and running second for a while in race two, the brilliant Alex Lowes proved that with a good grid position an Evo spec machine can be competitive for part race distance at least.

Yamaha Confirms Leaning Multi-Wheeler for 2014 – Will the Tesseract Concept Finally Become Reality?
Wed, 03 Jul 2013Yamaha confirmed it plans to introduce a new Leaning Multi-Wheeler (LMW) vehicle for 2014. An accompanying image of a test unit in camouflage reveals two closely-aligned front wheels beneath a broad fairing. The new model will be a three-wheeler similar to Piaggio‘s MP3 scooter instead of the four wheels like the Tesseract concept (pictured further below) first introduced at the 2007 Tokyo Motor Show.
