Yamaha FZ description

2011 Yamaha FZ8, 2011 Yamaha FZ8 - Very tastefully upgraded with intergraded taillight, Two Bros. exhaust and flush mount front blinkers. Very small chip on gas tank cowl. HAVE IT ALL The all new FZ8 is a "do-it-all" sportbike with amazing all-around performance for both the urban commando and the weekend canyon carver. And at 800 cc it splits the difference between a 600 and liter-bike so you get light weight handling along with great torque...all in a stylish, upright package.

Yamaha Teases New Supersport Reveal for Nov. 3 + Video

Wed, 01 Oct 2014

Yamaha fans expecting to hear big news from the Tuning Fork brand at Intermot may be a bit disappointed the Cologne show only brought us a refreshed XJR1300, the MT-07 Moto Cage stunt variant and a futuristic three-wheeled concept model. The first two aren’t likely to come to North America and the third might never see production. But fear not, as while most of the motorcycle world was focused on Intermot, Yamaha released a video teasing a “new era” supersport announcement for Nov.

EICMA 2011 Preview: 2012 Yamaha TMax – Scooterus Maximus [Video]

Tue, 18 Oct 2011

The 2011 EICMA show in Milan is just a few weeks away and from what we’ve seen from the manufacturers so far, it looks like the prevailing theme this year is the maxi-scooter. Honda will present its 700cc dual clutch transmission Integra scooter at EICMA, BMW announced it will unveil two new maxi-scooters in Milan, and Aprilia is rebadging an 850cc V-Twin Gilera scooter as the SRV 850. And now Yamaha is jumping into the fray with an update to its popular TMax.

Simon and Leo

Thu, 11 Aug 2011

If you are a track day regular this year, you may well have bumped into former racer and friendly Kiwi, Simon Crafar. I first met him in Malaysia in 1990 when he was riding for a Yamaha dealer team, sweating his way round circuits like Shah Alam and Johor Bahru but with a long term plan to make it onto the World scene. And he didn’t take long as after riding for Honda in the UK in 1992 he moved to WSB in 1994 and enjoyed success with both the Honda and Kawasaki factory teams.
