Yamaha FZ tech info
Yamaha FZ description
This is a CLEAN 2009 Yamaha FZ6R with only 9,570 miles of gentle use. It's a one owner bike that is being sold because the owner has joined the Navy (hat's off to him!) and has no use for it at this time. As you can see from the pictures it is perfect shape, no issues that we are aware of, the bike starts, runs and functions perfectly. Please call Ryan with any questions day or night at 217-370-6395. I will be happy to assist in the shipping, but the arrangments will have to be made by the buyer.

Suzuka Eight Hour capers
Mon, 05 Sep 2011Chatting to TT legend John McGuiness recently about his first Suzuka Eight Hour experience got me thinking of a few capers the boys and me managed a few years back at what is still Japan's most important race of the season. It is a unique event that starts at 11am and finishes at 7pm making it a pukka endurance race as the last hour is run with headlights on in the dark. It is essentially an eight hour sprint that showcases the trickest endurance machinery and manufacturer’s sales can be affected the following year depending on who wins or loses.
Think You’re a Smooth Rider? Yamaha’s SmartRiding App Will Prove It
Fri, 04 Oct 2013Yamaha has released a new app that records and evaluates riding habits. The free Yamaha SmartRiding app (available now in the App store) uses the Apple devices sensors to measure basic telemetry to evaluate how smoothly you handle curves. The app requires the device to be firmly fixed to the motorcycle in either a vertical or horizontal arrangement (the app is compatible with iPhones, iPods and iPads, though I’m not sure how many people will mount a tablet to their motorcycle).
