I am selling my Yamaha yzf600. It's in attractive shape and has some normal wear on it. It's got an aftermarket exhaust and an aftermarket sprocket so its lower geared. It also has blue LED's. Runs great and I just had the bike in the shop and had new front and back brakes put on as well as a tune up and a new speedo cable. Title in hand.I hate to sell the bike but I have 1 too many and the wife says I need to sell 1 of them. I am asking $2500 obo. Yamaha Donates Star Bolt To True American Heroes Auction Hosted By Kenny Roberts
Tue, 06 May 2014In support of the Yamaha True American Heroes Weekend–the fundraising event taking place this weekend at Kenny Roberts’ legendary ranch in Modesto, California–Yamaha Motor Corporation, U.S.A., has donated a 2014 Star Bolt to the Benefit Auction that is a featured event during the weekend. The announcement was made by Bob Starr, General Manager of Communications for Yamaha’s Motorsports Group. Our own Kevin Duke made it out to the event in 2012, where he had the chance to ride with some of the sport’s biggest legends.
Yamaha Trademarks YZF-R3
Thu, 16 Jan 2014Yamaha has filed for a trademark with the European Union for the names “YZF-R3” and “R3“. The trademark applications were filed Jan. 6 and are still under review, but once approved, we should expect Yamaha to introduce a new YZF-R3 soon after.
Intermot 2012: 2013 Yamaha FZ8 Announced
Tue, 02 Oct 2012Along with the announcement of the updated 2013 FJR1300A, Yamaha also announced that its naked middleweight roadster, the FZ8, has received a handful of updates for 2013. Key among the modest improvements is revised EFI programming for smoother, snappier throttle response, and front suspension is now full adjustability. The fork has new preload and rebound adjustments atop the fork legs, while a new compression damping adjuster is located at the bottom of the fork.
