Yamaha Other description

This is two year only bike. 1969-1970 Trailmaster with a dual range transmission. Only 1,700 miles! I bought the bike from the original owner and have the original title, registration, shop manual, and owner's manual from California dated in 1969. Also has a buddy seat with the dealership printed on the back as seen in the picture. Rebuilt the top end with NOS Yamaha piston. Also replaced all the engine, crank, and oil pump seals. Replaced engine bolts with SS allen heads. Lot's of NOS parts on this bike. Neat bike to ride around a property or around town. I do have the front fender which in nice shape but the arm snapped like most of these old fenders because they are so flimsy.

Facing the 22,841 foot summit of the Aconcagua, South America´s highest mountain, the motorcycle riders had to cross a pass over 14,107 feet in elevation in trial-like conditions.

The race could have been even closer if Gary Johnson, another Honda rider, hadn’t run out of gas on the final lap. Before he ran out of fuel, Johnson was in the mix with Anstey and Donald with just 0.62 seconds separating the three riders.
