Up for bid is a rare find an original 1971 Yamaha 125 Enduro AT-1 California Barn find . This is a true survivor that was purchased new at Concord Yamaha in late 1970 and taken to a Northern California ranch in the Sierra Nevada mountains. It was used on the property for the first few years and then correctly stored for about 4 decades in dry storage. It is a outstanding survivor that has been lost in a time warp. When this bike was first sold President Nixon was in the White house and fuel was .33 cents a gallon. The Yamaha Enduros were a "Better Machine" and many were sold but I would argue very few in the original condition of this motorcycle. The 125 was the only 2 stroke- Enduro with an electric push button starter as well as a kick start. These were great bikes that are now being bought up and completly restored to take the owners back to a simpler time with a fun simple 2 stroke street legal dirt bike. The fact that this bike is an all original survivor that is in unrestored condition makes this a very rare find indeed.
This bike is one that would be difficult to duplicate as most 45 year old vehicles are all gone and they don't make em anymore. Don't mis out on this family heirloom that has been lost in time. A street legal dirt bike with an electric start is a apreciating asset you can enjoy

This is a very rare find indeed lost in time and in fantastic shape for a original 45 year old motorcyle

This is a very rare survivor that has been in storage for years.  This is a real California survivor in very nice original condition that has seen little use in the last 45 years.

Original unmolested, unmodified senior owned survivor the way it rolled out of the dealership 45 years ago

Don't miss out on the opportunity to a own an appreciating asset that you can have fun with and be passionate about.

It is better than money in the bank,

Cosmetically this bike has been caught in a time warp locked away in a dry barn in the California Sierra Nevada mountains. This is an outstanding example of a super rare early production of a electric start 2 stroke street legal dirt bike. It is an unbelivable survivor and hard to believe it is a unrestored  45 year old motorcycle. The original paint on the tank is still very shinny with minor blemish's, the original seat is in very nice shape, the engine could use some polishing as the aluminum parts have some age wear. The bike needs a new air cleaner. The chrome on the wheels and the plating on the bike are in very nice shape. The tires are original and are still in good shape evn after 45 years.   This truck is unrestrore and is not a flawless show bike (but very close)  instead a a very good survivor that can be used and enjoyed for years to come.

Mechanically this bike is in a great original shape. It was recently gone through by a vintage Yamaha mechanic/historian who checked all systems  including the carb and fuel system. It needs a air cleaner which can be bought for $60. It has a new battery.  It has an electric start that has been taken out and cleaned and works great it fires up and runs great. The crank seals have been replaced. The odometer shows only 3011 miles.   It's a real survivor that looks and runs great.

Brammo Earns Seventh Place Against Gas Bikes

Mon, 06 May 2013

This past weekend, Brammo arrived to Sonoma Raceway in Central California ready to do battle. Only this time the electric sportbike manufacturer would be trading blows not with other electric bikes, but with their ICE counterparts at the second round of the American Federation of Motorcyclists series — one of the oldest club racing organizations in the country. We recently mentioned Brammo’s eligibility with AFM, and this weekend was the first outing. Team Icon Brammo and its two riders Eric Bostrom and Steve Atlas competed on the Empulse RR machines while third rider, Shelina Moreda, rode the Team Parker Brammo Empulse TTX — a modified version of the road-legal Empulse.
