Yamaha Other description

I have for sale a 1973 Yamaha Enduro DT3. Bike is in really good condition for its age. The tires are 80% and the chain and srockets are in good shape. The mileage is 6675. The tank is no year correct but I do have one that is correct but will have to be painted ans it is rust free as is the one on it. The  bike is not running at this time due to a firing problem. I do not know what it is and could be as simple as the points or possibly the magneto.....engine has good compression and the clutch feels good.....would make a nice bike with very little work.... bike is sold with bill of sale only......thanks for looking

There is no question that the BSB paddock has been split over the radical new points scoring system introduced for 2010. That said, no one can argue that the formula hasn't worked as we are in for the most exciting season end at the Oulton Park triple header on the 9th/10th of October. There may only be six riders in the final shoot out but there are at least another six that can win races, ultimately spoiling the party for the championship hopefuls.

Chaz Davies has captured the 2011 Supersport World Championship, completing a triumphant return to the series for Yamaha. Davies, the 2008 Daytona 200 winner, finished the Magny-Cours round in sixth place, giving him an insurmountable 35-point lead over Hannspree Ten Kate Honda‘s Fabien Foret with one race remaining. The championship comes in Yamaha‘s return from a one-year absence from the series.
