I NEED TO GET THIS OUT OF MY GARAGE, I'M TIRED OF LOOKING AT IT. ITS A 1973 YAMAHA CT175 ALMOST ALL ORIGINAL EXCEPT FOR THE 1971 GAS TANK. NEEDS SOME TLC, MOTOR IS FREE BUT HASN'T BEEN RUN IN A FEW YEARS, NEEDS A BATTERY, TUNE UP, ETC.............IT WAS GONNA BE A PROJECT FOR ME AND MY BOYS BUT I JUST DONT HAVE TIME TO GET IT GOING NOW. PICKED IT UP FROM A FRIEND AND THE TITLE WAS LOST YEARS AGO BUT IT IS OUT OF THE DMV SYSTEM SO THERE ARE NO BACK CHARGES. SELLING IT WITH A BILL OF SALE AND LOOKING TO LET IT GO FOR ONLY 600.00 / obo OR MAYBE TRADE FOR A SMALLER BIKE. REALLY INTERESTED IN A 70'S YAMAHA MINI ENDURO OR NEWER PIT BIKE. Yamaha Introduces 2012 V Star 950 and V Star Tourer
Wed, 08 Jun 2011Yamaha revealed the first 2012 models from its Star Motorcycles brand of cruisers, the V Star 950 and V Star 950 Tourer. The 2012 V Star 950 (and the more touring-oriented V Star 950 Tourer) is powered by a fuel-injected air-cooled 942cc 60 degree V-Twin engine with a five-speed transmission. Yamaha estimates fuel economy at 47 mpg from the 4.5 gallon tank.
