Yamaha Other description

1973 RD350
I bought it out of long term storage. I cleaned the carbs, put a new battery in and it fired right up. I have far too many projects, and not enough room. This one must go. Still needs finishing. Master cyl needs rebuild, Y pipe is petrified ($47 brand new) and general cleaning. Bike is completely stock and original as far as I know.  Has minor surface rust on some of the chrome here and there, and a ding in the right side of the tank. I have no title, thats how I got it. Here in NH that is not a problem, if its a problem for you do not bid. Bill of sale only.

Yamaha Officially Announces Monster Energy Sponsorship

Tue, 08 Jan 2013

As we reported in December, energy drink producer Monster Energy has signed a sponsorship agreement with Yamaha‘s factory MotoGP program, putting its brand on the Yamaha YZR-M1 race bikes, team clothing and equipment, as well as riders Jorge Lorenzo and Valentino Rossi. Monster Energy already had a personal sponsorship deal with Rossi but the company will now also sponsor Lorenzo. The reigning MotoGP Champion had previously had a sponsorship arrangement with rival energy drink company RockStar, but Yamaha exercised a clause in its contract with Lorenzo allowing a buy out of the RockStar deal as it conflicts with the team’s sponsor.

MotoVentures, the long-running (since 1998) dirt bike riding instruction company is changing its name from simply MotoVentures to the more descriptive Dirt First by MotoVentures. The new moniker more appropriately describes the company’s training activities and philosophy about the best way to learn how to ride a motorcycle begins in the dirt. “Our Dirt First training curriculum is very practical with no ceiling or limitations,” says MotoVentures President, Gary LaPlante. ”Our highly qualified, well-trained instructors are capable of teaching everyone from kids to adults and beginners to experts.
