No need to restore this Yamaha dual sport! It's in beautiful condition. . .always kept inside by the previous owner and myself. . .runs/drives/shifts like it should. . .6 gear transmission. . .vintage 2 stroke. . .never down; perfectly straight. Starts on 1st kick. . .everything working as it should...5400 mis showing.The bike was just serviced by a professional motorcycle mechanic (an elderly man/business owner, familiar with these old bikes), after, it had been parked for some years: carb cleaned/adusted; new gaskets; new transmission fluid; new high octane gasoline; chain adjusted/lubed; all electrical checked out (working correctly), and new tires and tubes. Title in hand. . .it's been on a Non Op status since 2001. Wed, 28 Jul 2010Whenever the calendar shifts to a major Japanese race, such as the Suzuka 8hr, one of the more amusing things to do is glance down the team sheet This years highlight for me has to be team Moto Bum, with other stand outs including aprilia D.D.BOYS, Team Etching Factory Yamaha and MITO MOTO & e'freaks Honda. Looking back through the ages some of the great Japanese team names have been Burning Blood Racing Team, Dog Fight Racing and Team Moto Space amongst others.
