Yamaha Other description

No need to restore this Yamaha dual sport! It's in beautiful condition. . .always kept inside by the previous owner and myself. . .runs/drives/shifts like it should. . .6 gear transmission. . .vintage 2 stroke. . .never down; perfectly straight. Starts on 1st kick. . .everything working as it should...5400 mis showing. The bike was just serviced by a professional motorcycle mechanic (an elderly man/business owner, familiar with these old bikes), after, it had been parked for some years: carb cleaned/adusted; new gaskets; new transmission fluid; new high octane gasoline; chain adjusted/lubed; all electrical checked out (working correctly), and new tires and tubes. Title in hand. . .it's been on a Non Op status since 2001. Need the money for bills, otherwise, I'd be keeping it. 1st person to put $2300 in my hand gets it.No test drives without M1 License and cash in my hand. . .thanks.(805)795-three363dt dt175 125 100 250 400 ct cl st enduro rt speedway classic collectible two stroke desert trail trails trials restored ct3 ct1 race track 1970 1971 1972 1973 1974 1975 1976 1977 1979 1980 1981 1982 oil induction injection off road yamahaLocation: Thousand Oaksit's NOT ok to contact this poster with services or other commercial interestsPosting ID: 421XXXXXX Posted: about five hours ago Updated: about three hours ago email to a friend

Air time Kenny Roberts-style

Thu, 25 Nov 2010

I can’t get enough of pictures that capture a specific, hard to define moment; the successful encapsulation of the absolute balls-to-the-wall, life or death commitment that riding a motorbike as fast as possible involves.  We all know. We’ve all been there – even if it’s only a once-in-a-lifetime moment. Maybe (for us mere mortals) it’s that rapidly, yet unexpectedly, tightening left-hand bend with a shitty, mud-covered veneer just at the apex.

The Japanese oddity to naming teams

Wed, 28 Jul 2010

Whenever the calendar shifts to a major Japanese race, such as the Suzuka 8hr, one of the more amusing things to do is glance down the team sheet This years highlight for me has to be team Moto Bum, with other stand outs including aprilia D.D.BOYS, Team Etching Factory Yamaha and MITO MOTO & e'freaks Honda. Looking back through the ages some of the great Japanese team names have been Burning Blood Racing Team, Dog Fight Racing and Team Moto Space amongst others.
