1982 Yamaha 400 with under 20k on it.I bought it in the summer of 2013, as a 1st time rider, I put less than 50mis on it.I realize now its hard to own, and ride a bike when you have three kids.So my loss is your gain, I have 1200.00 in it, and I want 1000.00 obo out of it.I installed a new clutch cable and fixed the front brake, it also has mod filters in place of the air box.I am sorry I dont no much about bikes, you can ask qeustions and I will try to answer them for ya.Comes with some small extra, original rear lamps, some extra oil filters.Just get on and ride, no work required!Email or text- 216- 990-7051If you want more pics, please let me know and I will get them for !!!!

2012 US Motorcycle Sales Results – Industry Reports 2.6% Increase

The Motorcycle Industry Council reported a 2.6% increase in motorcycle sales in the U.S. market for 2012. According to the industry group’s figures, American consumers purchased 452,386 motorcycles in 2012 compared to 440,899 motorcycles in 2011.

Valentino Rossi has finished on the podium eleven times in his twelve visits to Phillip Island across all three GP classes. The only race at Phillip Island that he did not finish in the top three was on his first visit riding a 125cc machine in 1997 when he finished sixth. In 1998 and 1999 he won the 250cc races and since then has had nine podiums in the premier-class including five victories, the last of which was in 2005.

Recall for 2006-2009 Yamaha FJR1300

Yamaha is recalling certain 2006-2009 FJR1300 sport-tourers due to a problem with the electrical system. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the ground joint connector of the wire harness on some Yamaha FJR1300 models may overheat and become deformed. If the electrical system is not properly grounded, the motorcycle’s electric components including the ignition system may malfunction, potentially causing the engine to stall.
