Up for auction here is a very clean all original survivor WITH ONLY 1400 Miles!!! 1982 Yamaha Seca Turbo XJ650L only produced for 2 years inside of gas tank is like brand new as is the rest of the bike has original tool kit never been out of compartment under seat has original chain and lock under seat as well paint is just beautiful original tires have plenty of tread left on them has original seat with no rips or tears has some very small pits just on the top of mufflers would polish out with the proper buffer bike was stored for 10+ years I purchased it at a estate auction had the carbs cleaned all jets needles O-rings and seets were replaced new battery installed ,new sparkplugs and oil the bike runs just great!!! is very fast and everything including turbo works as it should This bike really belongs in a museum not in my garage has 1400 original miles and clean clear title Bike must be paid for in full within 3 days of auction end either by PayPal or cash in hand willing to ship worldwide winning bidder will be responsible for all cost and arrangements can store bike up to 1 month free of charge after that it will be a $25.00 per week storage fee that will have to paid before bike is released feel free to ask any question you can call 734 787-2479 Aaron |

Frog eBike – the Electric Successor to 1985 Frog FZ750 Concept
Tue, 03 Apr 2012San Francisco-based Frog Design released images of a new electric motorcycle concept, just as its influential Yamaha FZ750-based Rana concept gets enshrined at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. Frog designer Jin Soek Hwang prepared the Frog eBike concept as an expression of how electric motor technology can influence motorcycle design. In a post on Frog’s blog, the designer says he was inspired in part by Frog’s 1985 FZ750 Rana concept (pictured after the jump).
2013 US Motorcycle Sales Data
Tue, 04 Feb 2014The Motorcycle Industry Council (MIC) reported a modest 1.4% growth in U.S. motorcycle and scooter sales in 2013, with consumers purchasing 465,783 vehicles. The sales data represents numbers from the MIC’s member brands which include BMW, Can-Am, Ducati, Harley-Davidson, Honda, Kawasaki, KTM, the Piaggio Group (which includes Aprilia, Moto Guzzi and Vespa), Victory, Suzuki, Triumph and Yamaha.
Official 2014 MotoGP Entry List Released
Fri, 28 Feb 2014The International Motorcycling Federation (FIM) released the official entry list for the 2014 MotoGP Championship including 23 riders representing 13 teams. The final entry list also lists each rider’s status as either a Open or Factory class rider. The eight Factory riders are allowed to use their teams’ own proprietary ECU software but are otherwise limited by a freeze on engine development, a limit of five engines for the whole season and just 5.3 gallons of fuel per race.
