Yamaha Other tech info
Yamaha Other description
Selling with regret. This has been my favorite bike of all time. Runs well. Stock, un-molested, only imported into the US for 1 year. Only selling to get a new Yamaha FJR in 2017. I've put 11K miles on this bike since buying in 2012. The front suspension works ok however never tested the pressure to determine it's health. Handgrips and Tires are 3 years old, new plugs, wires, Fuel filter, and battery 2 years ago. Used Oil Pump installed last year, and inspected clutch which is in excellent condition. Rear shocks changed 2 years ago to a Progressive shock. Recommended to have the electrical grounds checked/repaired/cleaned, as randomly the bike will turn off at a stop light. It's not happened in the last 5 months however I wanted to mention it. Always runs while moving. Since I've never cleaned the carbs, the new owner really should have this done to ensure the bike is reliable. I've been religious on using gasoline cleaner to help keep the carbs clean.
Buyer will put Title in their name. Will assist with delivery pickup within a month time period. On Nov-08-16 at 16:38:14 PST, seller added the following information: The red engine cooling 'wing' was originally silver, fyi. Also previous owner painted one of the side engine mounts red. Look up this bike on YouTube to ensure you know the details of this very limited bike. I'm happy to answer all questions quickly. Happy Bidding. On Nov-08-16 at 16:41:55 PST, seller added the following information: Mileage may increase during auction as I use the bike on the weekends. I reserve the right to end the auction early. |
