A little about our bikes...
Gypsie Vintage Cycle is one of the premier motorcycle restoration companies in the country. The motorcycles we restore and resell range in age from twenty to fifty years old. We are in the business of restoration not re-manufacturing. You are buying an old motorcycle that has been thoroughly gone through and re-conditioned. Unless otherwise stated the original motor, transmission, and drive train have been checked and found to be within acceptable tolerance considering the age and mileage on the motorcycle. Our prices reflect the level of workmanship we put into each one of our bikes, so if you are looking for a bargain, check craigslist. If you are looking for a beautiful restoration that works as it should when it gets to you, that's us!

Check us out and "Like" us on Facebook where many new bikes are posted BEFORE they go to eBay!

Shipping...
All other shipping arrangements are the responsibility of the buyer (especially international). We have worked with Keyboard Carriage, shipmybike(dot)com and haulbikes(dot)com as have our customers. A quick internet will award you several results should their rates not be to your liking. We are happy to work with whatever shipping arrangements you make. Pickup at our shop is also available should you be attending the Sturgis Rally or just stopping through on vacation.

Build your own Yamaha VMax

Tue, 15 Jun 2010

For the origami fans out there, Yamaha have a printable Paper Craft version of their VMax motorcycle (or should that be PMax - P for paper obviously) Download each of the five individual PDF pages and get folding. Might want to stock up on printer ink and A4 paper though as it looks like it will be a frustrating model. As it looks fairly impossible and time consuming I'm putting the challenge out for anyone to go out and complete the paper model themself.

Fri, 29 Jun 2012

As expected, MotoGP organizers have officially lifted the rule barring rookies from racing for factory teams, but the Grand Prix Commission also tweaked some other regulations including a cap on factory prototype machines. We’ve discussed the lifting of the rookie rule already, with the main impetus being to allow a manufacturer such as Honda to sign up-and-coming Moto2 star Marc Marquez when he is expected to move up to the premiere class next season. As of Jan.

AMA Supercross: 2012 San Diego Results

Mon, 13 Feb 2012

Ryan Villopoto captured his second straight victory, winning the San Diego round of the 2012 AMA Supercross championship. The Monster Energy Kawasaki rider now has three wins on the season, two more than anyone else, but his hold on the championship points lead has only increased to six points. Villopoto took the lead on the second lap of the main event after overtaking Brett Metcalfe of Yoshimura Suzuki who took the holeshot, with Villopoto‘s teammate Jake Weimer also in the lead group.
