The Japanese oddity to naming teams

Whenever the calendar shifts to a major Japanese race, such as the Suzuka 8hr, one of the more amusing things to do is glance down the team sheet This years highlight for me has to be team Moto Bum, with other stand outs including aprilia D.D.BOYS, Team Etching Factory Yamaha and MITO MOTO & e'freaks Honda. Looking back through the ages some of the great Japanese team names have been Burning Blood Racing Team, Dog Fight Racing and Team Moto Space amongst others. Remus are offering a slip-on exhaust for the 2010 Yamaha Super Ténéré. The new Super Ten exhaust from Remus comes in two options, the stainless steel hexacone retails at £370 and offers 1.6kg of weight saved on the stock OEM exhaust with a power increase of 7.5bhp. The second choice for the Yamaha's big adventure bike is the lighter titanium hexacone, the can offers the same increase in power but saves 1.81kg in weight.

Yamaha Auctioning Cal Crutchlow’s Leathers To Benefit Oklahoma Relief Fund

The terrible events that occurred in Oklahoma were tragic. To help with the rebuilding efforts, Yamaha is auctioning off a pair of Cal Crutchlow’s leathers, with 100% of the proceeds benefitting Feed The Children. FTC’s aim is to provide food, medicine, clothing and other necessities to families who lack these essentials due to war, poverty, famine, or natural disasters.
