2005 YAMAHA XVS1100 V-STAR CLASSIC, UP FOR SALE IS A VERY CLEAN 2005 YAMAHA XVS1100 CLASSIC MODEL. THE PAINT IS IN VERY NICE CONDITION WITH A FEW CHIPS AND SCRATCHES. THE CHROME SHINES. THE SPOKE WHEELS ARE STRAIGHT AND THE TIRES ARE STILL IN GOOD USABLE CONDITION. VERY LOW MILES OF ONLY 6,644 ON THIS BIKE. THIS IS A GREAT MID SIZE CRUISER. ALSO HAS A SHIFT DRIVE. NO CHAIN TO MESS WITH OR GET LUBE ALL OVER THE REAR WHEEL. THIS BIKE CAME TO US WITH SOME DAMAGE. WE HAVE REPAIRED OR REPLACED THE PARTS THAT HAD DAMAGE. THE MOTORCYCLE COMES WITH A CALIFORNIA SALVAGE CERTIFICATE AND CALIFORNIA HIGHWAY PATROL VIN NUMBER INSPECTION. THIS IS A NICE LOOKING LOW MILE BIKE FOR A VERY FAIR PRICE. Thu, 10 Sep 2009You’ll realize how cheesy that headline is after watching the pretty rad video that Yamaha has released. Yamaha’s new motocross bike has taken a radical new approach. The engine is backwards. Yamaha’s reason for doing this is to shift the heavy end of the motor more to the center of the motorcycle to make it more agile and responsive. Slanting the cylinder also made for a straighter pathway for the air intake at the front of the bike.

Mon, 27 Jan 2014With three different racers tasting victory in the first three rounds of the 2014 AMA Supercross Championship, the season was shaping up to be one of the deepest and most competitive fields we’ve seen. But at Round Four at O.o Coliseum in Oakland, Calif., Ryan Villopoto showed why he remains the top dog, leading each lap for his second win of the season. The Kawasaki rider only trailed at the very start of the race, as Honda rider Vince Friese took the holeshot with Yamaha‘s Justin Brayton slotting in second through the first corner.
Sturgis Motorcycle Hall of Fame Announces 2013 Induction Class

The Hall also announced it will add one new member to its Freedom Fighters Hall of Fame. For 2013, the Hall will welcome to its ranks motorcycle attorney Russ Brown, custom chopper builder Rick Fairless (pictured above), Harley-Davidson dealer Bill Gikling, actor Marjoe Gortner of the television special “Sturgis: The Great Ride”, and antique motorcycle expert Lonnie Isam, Sr.
