I have a 2006 Yamaha R1 (blue) in mint condition with only 8000 mis. There is not 1 scratch or blemish on this bike. The bike is all stock except for the 2 Brothers exhaust and frame sliders. I'm am the second owner (I'm over 40yrs old as was the original owner). I have all paperwork for work performed by dealer from original owner and myself. Title in hand. I'm asking $6,800 obo. Yamaha’s Dennis McNeal Named Chair of Motorcycle Industry Council
Tue, 04 Mar 2014The Motorcycle Industry Council (MIC) has named Dennis McNeal as the new chair of its board of directors. McNeal, the vice president of motorcycle operations for Yamaha Motor Corp. U.S.A., will take over the chairman position from Mark Blackwell, the retiring vice president of Polaris Industries.

An Island tour with a legend
Fri, 17 Sep 2010What you are watching is a highlight of Mike Hailwood's segment from the racing documentary Take it to the Limit - A Motorcycle Odyssey. The Yamaha - built by the extraordinary Kel Carruthers - that Hailwood is riding in the clip featured a unique frame with the camera housed within. The voice-over recording provided by Hailwood was done by taping a small mic to the bottom of his lip so he could dictate his guide to the 37.73 mile route.
