Extras include: moose racing skid plate, moose racing radiator guards, newer renthal o-ring chain, newer steel rental front and rear sprockets, 90% tread left on rear tire, 95% tread on front tire, newer fork seals, new plastics and seat, Renthal handle bars, new scott handlebar grips. The bike was serviced after every other ride which included cleaning/replacing air filter, oil change, checked radiator fluid. Never been raced. Extremely fast bike! Pirelli To Remain Tire Supplier For All World Superbike Classes Through 2018

What follows is the official Pirelli press release. Pirelli has been confirmed as the Official Tire Supplier for all classes of the eni FIM Superbike World Championship having won the tender organized by Dorna, promoter and organizer of the World Championship, in agreement with the FIM, the International Motorcycling Federation.
Yamaha Opens New Motorcycle Testing Center
Wed, 13 Nov 2013Yamaha has completed construction of a new test course for developing motorcycles for emerging markets in Kikugawa, Japan. The 121-acre Yamaha Motor Kikukawa Test Course features a 1.18-mile circuit and a mix of multi-purpose roads and mountain terrain. It will be used to develop new motorcycles for Latin America and Asia.
Recall for 2009-2011 Yamaha V-Max
Fri, 30 Sep 2011Yamaha is issuing a recall campaign on certain 2009-2011 V-Max power cruisers due to a potential risk of oil pump malfunction. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, abnormally high oil pressure can build up within the oil pump of certain Yamaha V-Max models. The high pressure may force the washer on the oil pump shaft against the oil pump housing, causing oil to stop pumping through the engine.
