Yamaha Other description

2009 Yamaha V-Star 650 Custom, Great Bike With Low Miles - From the day it hit the street, the V-Star 650 Custom has been a huge hit. We started with an authentic V-twin powerplant and a lean, low-slung chassis, and then tricked it out with lots of chrome, luminous paint, and a bobtail rear fender. And thanks to its chopper profile, shaft drive, and low seat height, the end result is no ordinary custom. The V-Star 650 Custom is so stylish and unique, people will swear you must have customized it yourself. Don't worry - we won't tell a soul.

Yamaha Recalls R1 and Super Tenere for Overheating Headlights

Mon, 24 Feb 2014

Yamaha has started a recall campaign on 2009-2013 YZF-R1 sportbikes and 2012-2013 Super Ténéré models because of a risk of headlight failure due to overheating. The recall campaign affects 19,045 units of the R1 and 4,683 units of the Super Ténéré in the U.S. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, heat generated by the headlight bulb socket may cause the terminal ends to expand, resulting in arcing between the terminal connector and bulb contact.

Canada Gets Race Blu 2013 Yamaha Fazer8

Fri, 07 Dec 2012

Back in September, Yamaha revealed a special “Race Blu” livery for a the YZF-R1, YZF-R6 and the YZF-R125 for the European market. Yamaha promoted the new color scheme with Jorge Lorenzo and Ben Spies sporting the colors on their leathers and M1 race bikes at the Misano and Aragon MotoGP rounds. North American consumers were left out, however, getting a Team Yamaha Blue and White version instead for the R1 and R6 (the R125 isn’t offered here either).

One man who didn't want to be watching the Sachsenring MotoGP

Mon, 15 Jul 2013

Jorge Lorenzo posted this picture on his Twitter feed on Sunday. Yamaha's No.1 rider had to watch Sunday's MotoGP from his apartment. Despite Crutchlow reckoning Sunday's race result would have been the same even with Pedrosa and Lorenzo on the grid, I reckon Lorenzo would have had something to say about that.
