Yamaha Other description
This is an amazing custom bike built by renowned bike builder Greg Hageman. Greg is best known for his award-winning Yamaha Virago's showcased on the Cafe Racer TV show. He is also the mastermind behind the stripped down, old school, vintage-looking Yamaha Bolt Scrambler 950cc fist seen at the Star Bolt build-off sponsor by Yamaha. Of course, Greg's Yamaha Scrambler took 1st prize. This bike is a custom build thru and thru...the list below indicates most but not all of the custom work completed by Greg. I am the only owner of the bike and have owned it for approximately 3 months. It is truly an amazing bike and a blast to ride...not to0 big and not too small and fast as hell, especially since being reworked a bit by Ivans Performance. All sales are final and payment will be through Pay Pal or cashiers check. All shipping charges will be the responsibility of the buyer. French Moto Website Anticipates Versys 1000 at EICMA 2011
Mon, 24 Oct 2011Musings of a liter-size engined Kawasaki Versys have circulated the web for a few years now, as loyalists of the likable Versys 650, as well as displacement-driven riders waiting in the wings, have pondered the potential of a more powerful adventure bike from Kawasaki that’s in the same league as BMW’s R1200GS and Yamaha’s Super Tenere. Alas, nothing of the sort has ever left the lips of Kawasaki, let alone go into production. Recently, however, the French motorcycle website, Moto-net.com, has produced convincing images that appear like photos of a complete Versys 1000, including matching hard luggage.

New: Venhill 888 fast-action twistgrips
Fri, 01 Mar 2013CONTROL specialist Venhill has launched its new 888 range of bike-specific fast action twistgrips. Supplied complete with the company's top of the range Featherlight cables, the kits are designed for a straightforward replacement of the factory-fitted equipment. Bike-specific kits are now available for the Honda CBR600F, Kawasaki ZX-6R/ZX-10R, Suzuki GSX-R600/750, Triumph 675 Daytona and Yamaha R1/R6, among others, with prices from £105. Here's Venhill's description of the new product: "Manufactured with a robust CNC machined alloy body, the 888 fast action twistgrip provides a choice of two settings and is supplied with two rotors so that riders can select the throttle action that best suits the riding conditions. Settings can be changed swiftly by undoing the two set screws securing the throttle body and changing the rotor. On the fastest setting there is 80° of rotation, (taking up 36mm of the cable), which is typically 45% faster than 'standard' throttles.
