TWINS!!!! Here we have twin 1981 yamaha chappy's. Yes, you will be bidding on both scoots! These scooters are a fresh barn find. I have titles and keys for both. One title is the original document the other is a New Jersey title. These scooters appear to be in pretty decent shape for being over 30 years old. I have not tried to get them going and I am not going to. One of them is seized from sitting and the other spins freely. I was told by the original owner that they both ran when they where put away some years ago. They have been sitting in a garage for over 15years. One of them has 950miles the other has just broken 500miles. I had planned on fixxing them and having a set of the coolest run abouts around. Frog eBike – the Electric Successor to 1985 Frog FZ750 Concept
Tue, 03 Apr 2012San Francisco-based Frog Design released images of a new electric motorcycle concept, just as its influential Yamaha FZ750-based Rana concept gets enshrined at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. Frog designer Jin Soek Hwang prepared the Frog eBike concept as an expression of how electric motor technology can influence motorcycle design. In a post on Frog’s blog, the designer says he was inspired in part by Frog’s 1985 FZ750 Rana concept (pictured after the jump).
New 2012 Yamaha Zuma 50F Four-Stroke Scooter Unveiled
Wed, 08 Jun 2011Yamaha unveiled the new 2012 Zuma 50F four-stroke scooter, the replacement for the two-stroke Zuma. The new 2012 Yamaha Zuma 50F is powered by a 49cc liquid-cooled fuel injected four-stroke engine, an update from the 2011 Zuma’s 49cc air-cooled carbureted two-stroke engine. According to Yamaha, the Zuma 50F claims an estimated 132 mpg compared to the two-stroke Zuma’s claimed 123 mpg.
