 This Auction is for a 1971 Yamaha CT-1 175 Enduro. Bike looks very nice. Bike does shift through all gears. Bike has tons of compression and spark. All the bike should need is some fresh gas and should start right up. Throttle is not stuck. Clutch feels good. Chrome on the bike looks good. Gas tank looks nice inside. The emblems looks very nice on the bike. Seat looks good and has no tears. All around the bike looks very nice. Please look at the pictures and email with any questions. Yamaha Quitting World Superbike Racing After 2011 Season

Yamaha announced it is withdrawing its factory World Superbike Championship race team following the end of the 2011 season. The news comes as a bit of a surprise, just a week after reports the team had re-signed racer Marco Melandri for the 2012 season. On the other hand, the team has struggled to find a title sponsor this season, as has Yamaha’s MotoGP team.

Focused Events Rider Development Days at Silverstone offer a new, intense tuition-based experience on a selection of new Supersport machines, hosted by high-level instructors including Niall Mackenzie, Jamie Whitham and Steve Plater.The courses will be situated at Stowe circuit, Silverstone and will be aimed at Novice and Intermediate riders. Dates for the events have been confirmed as 14th May and 2nd September.Pupils will not only be taught by World class instructors, the machinery available for use will be high-end Supersport machines from Ducati, Kawasaki, Suzuki and Yamaha. Total cost for the day is £339 including bike hire with a £50 premium for use of the exotic Ducati 848.Chief Instructor and Visordown Road Test Editor Niall Mackenzie explained, “A track day can be an intimidating place to learn circuit and road skills, especially for less experienced riders.

Coma, despite taking a 15 minute penalty, finished second for the day, maintaining his overall lead.
