Yamaha Other description

Great condition classic Yamaha for sale. Recent restoration including new lower chin fairing, brake pads and footpegs, tires, valve adjustment, just a real nice ride. This is an "A" model with antilock brakes. I am selling because I don't ride it more than once or twice a month and I need the room. The only known issue is the fuel gauge just started reading 1/4 tank at all times. I'll be working on that next week. Though I have about $5000 invested I'm keeping the reserve at $2800. With the bike I will include soft throw over saddle bags and a shop manual. Thanks for your consideration.

Yamaha Applies for R3 Trademark in US

Wed, 22 Jan 2014

Last week, we broke the news that Yamaha had filed a trademark application for the European Union for the use of “YZF-R3” and “R3“. We can now confirm that Yamaha has filed a similar trademark application for “R3″ with the United States Patent and Trademark Office, a strong indication that Yamaha intends to offer the motorcycle in the U.S. Visit the Yamaha R3 Forum The USPTO filing (registration #86160385)  is dated Jan.

Not the most sensible of commuters..

Wed, 04 Apr 2012

This is the white and gold 2012 Yamaha R1. It's also the bike I shall be commuting on for the next 8 months. The crouched riding position and murderous amounts of power may not be ideally suited for the London grind, but with plenty of track action planned I have to make some compromises. There are three fresh colours to choose from.

2015 Yamaha FZ-07 Certified by California Air Resources Board

Tue, 20 May 2014

Although Yamaha has yet to announce the FZ-07 for American consumption, new documents from the California Air Resources Board lead us to believe it’s on its way to U.S. dealers. The FZ-07 was first revealed last fall at EICMA as the MT-07, which is the name it is being sold under in Europe, Japan and other markets.
