I am selling my 2006 Yamaha FJR1300! I never thought the day would come to say goodbye to my beloved motorcycle. My wife and I moved to Florida but the bike is in the Bay Area, where we pre-owned to live/ride. I am the original owner and it's in exceptional condition. It has 9,308 mis. It has cosmetic issues only: a small crack on the right lower side of the faring and a few scratches which don't affect any functions, all shown in the images. New front tire and battery. Back tire still has more than half the tread. Upgraded windshield. Top box purchased from Yamaha. Title is clean and ready to be transferred to new owner. Registration with California DMV is PNO. Yamaha Reveals 2014 MotoGP Livery
Wed, 19 Mar 2014Earlier this month, we reported on the partnership between Yamaha and Movistar that would place the Spanish telecommunications company as title sponsor for the Yamaha MotoGP team for the next five years. The deal came at the eleventh hour, as contract negotiations and minor details needed to be sorted. Now, just days before the start of the 2014 season at the Grand Prix of Qatar, Yamaha has revealed its official 2014 MotoGP livery.

Tue, 18 Dec 2012Last week, we wrote about retired Formula One racer Michael Schumacher taking part in a track day at France’s Paul Ricard circuit on a Ducati 1199 Panigale. The event’s sponsor, Monster Energy, has released a video offering a behind-the-scenes look at the event. The seven-time F1 champion was joined by TT racer John McGuinness, retired MotoGP racer Randy Momola, Moto2 racer Pol Espargaro and Keith Flint, a musician from the group Prodigy and a racer in the U.K.’s Hottrax Endurance Championship.
Yamaha Champions Riding School August Update
Tue, 05 Aug 2014Our friends at the Yamaha Champions Riding School have been busy lately. Since moving to New Jersey Motorsports park in April, traffic has steadily risen, with June being sold out and July not far behind. August is very promising with some new ideas (one-day clinics to bring a more economical program to a larger group of riders) being inserted into the mix as well as a normal two-day school at the end of the month, which is already 80% full thanks to the yearly visit from the engineering department of Harley Davidson. Following August YCRS will have two schools the week directly after the AMA Pro races at NJMP.
