1974 YAMAHA RD250 HAS ABOUT 4K MILES ON IT NOT CURRENTLY RUNNING HASN'T RUN IN YEARS- BEEN SITTING IN A GARAGE TOP END IS STUCK- NOT SURE IF ITS GUMMED UP FROM SITTING OR SEIZED. I SPARAYED SOME PENETRATING OIL INTO THE CYLINDERS BUT HAVEN'T DONE ANYTHING ELSE TO IT. SO IT MIGHT NEED THE TOP END GONE THRU, FREED UP OR WHATEVER. CARBS NEED TO BE CLEANED AS THE THROTTLE FEELS STUCK. I USUALLY GO THROUGH ALL THIS STUFF BUT UNFORTUNATELY I DO NOT HAVE TIME THIS MONTH SO ITS GOING AS IS CHEAP. FIX IT UP AND RESELL IT AND MAKE SOME MONEY OR KEEP IT AS THESE THINGS ARE GOING UP IN VALUE MORE AND MORE. ONLY HAS LIKE 4400 mileS ON IT MISSING RIGHT SIDE COVER. ORIGINAL PAINT RIGHT SIDE OF TANK HAS A SMALL DENT- SEE PICS. BACK END OF THE SEAT IS SPLIT- SEE PICS. CLEAN TITLE SHIFTS THROUGH THE GEARS THIS IS A GREAT PROJECT FIXER UPPER FOR SOMEONE INTO THE OLD SCHOOL two STROKES. I DO NOT HAVE THE KEY. Yamaha Produces 35th Anniversary Edition SR400 for Japan
Tue, 22 Jan 2013Yamaha is celebrating the 35th anniversary of its SR series with a special edition model in Japan. Produced in limited numbers, the 35th Anniversary Edition Yamaha SR400 offers an exclusive leaf green metallic color, special badging and, in an unusual gesture, a lower price than the base model. The original SR500 was introduced in 1978 as a street-focused version of the Yamaha XT500.

The crouched riding position and murderous amounts of power may not be ideally suited for the London grind, but with plenty of track action planned I have to make some compromises. New MotoGP Rules for ECU and Factory Status for 2014
Fri, 26 Jul 2013The Grand Prix Commission released new rules for the 2014 MotoGP season regarding the standard electronic control unit and what constitutes “factory status” for manufacturers. Starting in 2014, the official MotoGP ECU including internal datalogger from Magneti Marelli will become mandatory. Factory teams will be allowed to program their own ECU software while privateers will be required to run the standard software.
