2013 US Motorcycle Sales Data

The Motorcycle Industry Council (MIC) reported a modest 1.4% growth in U.S. motorcycle and scooter sales in 2013, with consumers purchasing 465,783 vehicles. The sales data represents numbers from the MIC’s member brands which include BMW, Can-Am, Ducati, Harley-Davidson, Honda, Kawasaki, KTM, the Piaggio Group (which includes Aprilia, Moto Guzzi and Vespa), Victory, Suzuki, Triumph and Yamaha.

Yamaha and Star Riding Assc. Set For 5th Annual Feed the Children Food Drop

Yamaha Motor Corp., U.S.A., along with the Star Touring and Riding association, join forces for the fifth year to support the charitable organization Feed the Children in a food drop to benefit needy Orange County, Calif., residents. The event takes place today, Friday, November, 18th. Runaway Bus Crashes Into Russian Yamaha Dealership

In July, we reported an incident in Italy involving a Lamborghini crashing into a BMW dealership and damaging several motorcycles. A similar incident happened last weekend in Russia after a runaway bus plowed into a powersports dealerships that sold Yamaha, Can-Am and Honda products.
