For your consideration on 2012 Yamaha Raider SCL Limited Edition. Bike bought new by an older gentleman and he says he is done riding, its my dad.  Bike has Cobra pipes, detachable windshield and bags, 15K miles.  It is a limited edition so they only made so many in the metallic orange paint.  It will need new rear tire fairly soon. Yamaha Teases New Naked Model for EICMA – Video

Earlier this year, Yamaha started a teaser campaign called “Dark Side of Japan” that culminated in the introduction this summer of the FZ-09 naked Triple (also known as the MT-09 in other markets). It’s now fall, but apparently Yamaha has more hiding in the Dark Side, in another new naked motorcycle. Yamaha has released another new teaser video called “Rise Up” for a new model to be unveiled Nov.

Motorcycle Thefts Down 11.2% in 2010

Motorcycle thefts in the U.S. are down for the fourth consecutive year in 2010,  according to a report from the National Insurance Crime Bureau. There were 49,791 reported motorcycle thefts in 2010, an 11.2% drop from the 56,093 thefts reported in 2009.
