Up for auction is a 2003 Yamaha Road Star Silver Edition, # 886 of 1600. This bike is in excellent condition with a ton of after-market parts including Corbin Stinger seat, 17” Baron Kong bars, stainless steel brake and clutch cables, chrome mirrors and levers, Tri-bar headlight and Tri-bar running lights, new white-wall tires, ISO chrome floor boards, ISO passenger chrome floorboards, HD crash bar, HD front fender, Bassani exhaust with 36” fish tails, A ton of chrome Kuryakyn parts. Since its return at New Jersey Motorsports Park, the school has sold out in less than a half of season. There are any number of reasons this could be the case.
Yamaha to Open Plant in Pakistan
Thu, 04 Aug 2011Yamaha is reportedly planning to open a new manufacturing facility in Pakistan. According to the Associated Press of Pakistan, Yamaha would invest $150 million in the new 50 acre facility, to be located in Karachi, Pakistan’s main seaport and financial hub. The plant would produce motorcycles for the Pakistani market, as well as models to be exported to other Commonwealth of Independent States nations.

Mon, 22 Jul 2013Marco Melandri captured his third win of the season, the Ducati 1199 Panigale scored its first podium while Sylvain Guintoli regained the championship lead despite dislocating his collarbone days before the race. But the big news at Moscow Raceway of course was the tragic death of Andrea Antonelli in the World Supersport race. The opening-lap crash in severely wet conditions naturally led to the cancellation of the rest of the events as the World Superbike community mourns the loss of the 25-year-old Antonelli.
