2003 Yamaha Road Star , 2003 Yamaha Road Star with only 22242 miles on it. This bike was just serviced and has a new battery, plugs, oil, etc. Runs and sounds great. Has some minor cosmetic issues (some bolts with surface rust, normal ware, etc,) but is a very sound bike. You are guaranteed to turn heads on this bike, and I have always been complemented for its patriotic paint scheme. This is a true cruiser, it is loud (vance and hines straight pipes), powerful, and looks great. This is not a show bike, it is meant to be rode and not just looked at. Yamaha Developing 250cc Sportbike for India in 2014
Wed, 12 Dec 2012Yamaha has been rumored to be working on a 250cc sportbike for quite some time now. In fact, the other three members of the Japanese Big Four have launched new models in the small-displacement segment in recent years, but none of these new generation small-displacement bikes bear Yamaha‘s crossed tuning fork logo. That may change by 2014 however.

Now Yamaha has introduced the next motorcycle in the Darkness collection, the MT-07, effectively the MT/FZ-09′s little brother. Designed to “bring fun, affordability and enjoyment back to the street,” the MT-07 is powered by a brand new, 689cc parallel-Twin with 270-degree crank incorporating Yamaha’s “crossplane philosophy” of developing linear torque for smoother power application.
Are Motorcycles Safer With Antilock Brakes?
Tue, 30 Dec 2008A new report says riders with ABS-equipped bikes can dramatically reduce the chance of a fatal accident. The study compared fatality rates among riders on bikes that have antilock brakes, and it found that death rates were 38% lower on motorcycles equipped with the optional ABS systems compared to non-ABS bikes. In 2005-2006, the fatal crashes per 10,000 registered motorcycles without antilock brakes was 6.6.
