Back in 2002, if you wanted a muscle cruiser it was either this bike or a V-Rod. Today, there are plenty of different options....however, few are air-cooled pushrod V-twins. None, other than the Yamaha Warrior, have R1 derived inverted forks, R1 dual piston-dual disc brakes or an all aluminum frame & swing arm. Weighing in at just over 600lbs, this bike puts many other muscle cruisers to shame from a performance and design perspective. Not your typical cruiser and with minimal yet tasteful chrome, the bike gets amazing compliments. We hate to sell it, but with 2 young boys and a 3rd child on the way, it's time to buy a boat instead of pampering this toy any longer! Ducati continues to develop its Desmosedici GP12 MotoGP race bike, setting modest goals while trying to establish a good setup. Already trailing the other factory teams in development time for its race prototypes, Ducati continued to try to find good base settings for the GP12. Valentino Rossi achieved the team’s goal of lapping under two minutes and two seconds with a time of 2:01.886 while completing 44 laps on the second day of testing at Malaysia’s Sepang circuit.

Jefferies' TT V&M R1 for sale

We got a tip-off about a former David Jefferies TT R1 for sale on eBay. The owner says it's from the 1998 TT but I'm pretty sure it was the one he raced in 1999. Here's a little bit more background about the V&M TT effort in 1999: In 1990 Jack Valentine gave up racing to concentrate on running V&M Racing, and after being sacked by Honda at the end of the 1998 season, the team set about to do some giant killing.

Yamaha has been rumored to be working on a 250cc sportbike for quite some time now. In fact, the other three members of the Japanese Big Four have launched new models in the small-displacement segment in recent years, but none of these new generation small-displacement bikes bear Yamaha‘s crossed tuning fork logo. That may change by 2014 however.
