Yamaha Royal Star description

A very nice touring motorcycle in very good condition. It was sold, but then became unsold due to lack of funds. I've taken this bike on several long trips and found it to be extremely stable and comfortable for both solo and two-up riding. I've ridden it from North Carolina to Michigan and from Michigan to New York City twice. I've actually ridden it in all five boroughs of NYC. It has cruise control, generous saddle bags, and lots of extra chrome. Well maintained. Everything works perfectly. There is one 2-inch seam tear on the driver's seat, probably repairable, but I can't guarantee it. 30,000 miles. (These Royal Stars will easily go over 100,000 miles.) Yamaha Names Olivier Pain and Michael Metge to 2015 Dakar Team

Yamaha has retained Olivier Pain and Michael Metge to race for its official factory team in the 2015 Dakar Rally. Pain and Metge will ride a new WR450F Rally currently being developed for the 2015 rally. Both riders raced for the Yamaha team in this year’s rally; Pain finished third overall behind KTM Red Bull team’s Marc Coma and Jordi Viladoms while Metge rode as a support rider for fourth-place finisher Cyril Despres.

3J’s Charity Track Day Raises $30k

Since 2003, 3J’s Motorcycle Track Days have generated nearly $450,000 for charity. This year, the event’s 20th annual, 3J’s raised more than $30,000 for Speedway Children’s Charities. Nearly 120 riders converged on Sonoma Raceway in Sonoma, California for a day of riding around the 12-turn, 2.28-mile road course.
