2005 Yamaha Royal Star Tour Deluxe , 2005 Royal Star Tour Deluxe. Best balanced/equipped cruiser/tourer made IMHO. Instant removable windshield and sissy bar assembly w/Yam luggage rack for different looks/use. Automotive style electronic cruise control, Ultimate driver backrest, autocancel turn signals, Yamaha lightbar w/visors all signals and new Halogens, stock exhaust with slash cut RK exhaust too (louder). Very quick and comfortable w extremely durable engine (seen 200k on some). Synthetic blend oils in engine and differential (shaft drive), Waterwetter in radiator recently serviced. New brakes, clutch fluid and tires (Metzler Marathons)...wonderful handling in the twisties. Never down, stored in climate controlled garage and in showroom condition. The great care lavished on this bike will be evident on viewing/riding. 3rd one I've owned so I'm a fan and know what to look for..this one has it. AMA Pro Racing Announces Tommy Aquino Spirit Award
Wed, 12 Mar 2014The sudden and tragic passing of Tommy Aquino has hit the entire motorcycling community hard. In order to preserve and honor the spirit and positive attitude of the late Tommy Aquino, AMA Pro Racing announced today that a “Tommy Aquino Spirit Award” will be granted to an AMA Pro Road Racing rider who best embodies the spirit of the paddock during the 2014 season. The paddock will vote for the rider who exemplifies qualities mirroring those of Tommy including passion for the sport, fan engagement and team interaction. The award will be presented on behalf of Cortech and Shoei at the conclusion of the 2014 AMA Pro Road Racing season. “Over the past eight years we have had the pleasure of working with Tommy Aquino, but he was much more than just another Shoei athlete,” said Hiro Mizushima, President of Shoei Safety Helmet Corp.

Not being a huge Ducati fan, when I was thrown the keys of this monster at Silverstone on Tuesday I was expecting an ill handling, weighty beast that would run out of revs and scare me to death. Well I couldn’t have been more wrong as I had an absolute blast.
