I am selling my beautiful 2008 Yamaha Royal Star Venture S motorcycle. The color of the bike is the very rare silver over charcol. Mileage is well under 10,000. This is the most comfortable 2 seat bike you will ever throw a leg over and is built for two-up touring. It has a liquid cooled, V-4, 1300 cc engine with a five gear transmission and silky-smooth shaft drive. AM/FM, cassette, CB and ports for built-in rider-passenger intercom. Suzuki’s GSX-R600 might not look that much different to the outgoing model but I suspect this bike could be very much a dark horse in 2011. I say this because two years ago I was definitely not building my hopes up en route to the K9 GSXR 1000 launch. The leaked pictures suggested the biggest change from the 2007 version would be some fresh graphics but I was so wrong. As it turned out, I was greeted in Almeria with a brand new bike, built from the tarmac up and it proved to be more than a match in every department for the much hyped 2009 Yamaha R1.

Recall for 2011 Yamaha FJR1300

Yamaha is initiating a recall campaign the 2011 FJR1300, just a week after a separate recall for the 2006-2009 versions of the sport touring motorcycle. Like the earlier campaign, the recall for the 2011 Yamaha FJR1300 is for an electrical issue, this time for the brake lights. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, brake light on affected units may not illuminate when the front brake lever is applied because the activating mechanism in the brake switch can bind.
