Up fpr sale is "1987 YAMAHA SDR200" very rare 2stroke sports.

The bike is just imported from Japan.

Not registered yet in the U.S.

Overall very clean bike.

Very good running condition sharp response of  2stroke engine is still well.

Can shift all gears very smooth.

Brakes are work fine.

Electricals are  all work.

Has an original key.

Fuel tank was re-splayed by previous owner.

Used motorcycle with wear as 29 ages,

so look carefully all pictures and video.

Speedometer looks YAMAHA genuine parts and shows 21200km = about 13250mile,
but acutual mileage is unknown.

Will needs new tires and fork seals too.

This is a over 25 years old used bike.

The process is tedious, and even if permission is granted, there are strict limitations as to what the material may or may not be used for. So when Honda decided to conduct its own private test (which Yamaha also joined), at the Circuit of the Americas, it was free from any and all Dorna mandates.

Yamaha has released a new app that records and evaluates riding habits. The free Yamaha SmartRiding app (available now in the App store) uses the Apple devices sensors to measure basic telemetry to evaluate how smoothly you handle curves. The app requires the device to be firmly fixed to the motorcycle in either a vertical or horizontal arrangement (the app is compatible with iPhones, iPods and iPads, though I’m not sure how many people will mount a tablet to their motorcycle).

The trendiest segment in the industry at the moment is the adventure touring motorcycle. Spearheaded by the top-selling BMW R1200GS, the segment has seen a flood of imitators such as the Triumph Tiger Explorer, Yamaha Super Ténéré and the Honda Crosstourer. A recent report from the Motorcycle Industry Council found that scooter sales are also on the rise in the U.S., spurred on by soaring gas prices.
