Yamaha TT description

I'm selling my TTR 125L that's bored to a 150cc. This is a rare find with the mods. I may be forgetting something but here's the list.

BBR 150 bore kit
BBR Frame Cradle
BBR Chain guide
BBR Rear spring
Pro Tape handle bars
Tall Seat
YZ forks
Keihin Carb
Tires are like new

It's been in my garage for a while and it hasn't been ran much. Carb may need to be adjusted and the front brake line needs to be bled. My price is firm at 1900 non negotiable. Mods alone are over 1900.

CARB Documents Reveal Two Yamaha FJ-09 Models

Fri, 12 Sep 2014

The California Air Resources Board today released executive orders on two Yamaha models: the FJ09FCGY and FJ09FCR. Both to be based on the current FZ-09 engine and chassis (MT-09 in Europe). In March of this year, MO’s resident sleuth, Dennis Chung, revealed Yamaha filed a trademark application for the FJ09 name.

Yamaha Introduces 2012 V Star 950 and V Star Tourer

Wed, 08 Jun 2011

Yamaha revealed the first 2012 models from its Star Motorcycles brand of cruisers, the V Star 950 and V Star 950 Tourer. The 2012 V Star 950 (and the more touring-oriented V Star 950 Tourer) is powered by a fuel-injected air-cooled 942cc 60 degree V-Twin engine with a five-speed transmission. Yamaha estimates fuel economy at 47 mpg from the 4.5 gallon tank.

Back in the day, the All Japan 500cc Championship at Tsukuba

Fri, 24 Jun 2011

This ‘you tube’ gem sent to me recently brought back some funny memories from the scary but incredibly exciting days of 500cc two stroke racing. This particular race was the final round of the All Japan 500cc Championship at Tsukuba Circuit where I enjoyed a head to head battle with national hero Tadahiko Taira. Yamaha’s favourite son at the time, ‘tie wrap’ as we liked to call him, was taller and better looking than most Japanese riders (maybe a war baby?) and went on to win nearly everything in Japan during his career.
