Their secret for being so good at what they do is that they totally immerse themselves in Yamaha by working at the Yamaha offices. Hilarity ensues. James Toseland works the mail room, while Colin Edwards does security, quoting Eric Cartman from a 10 year-old-South Park episode. Jorge Lorenzo is washing windows and Valentino Rossi is working the front desk.

Thu, 03 Apr 2014Yamaha Motor Corporation, U.S.A., is proud to announce that it has signed on as sponsor for the GEICO Motorcycle Superbike Shootout Presented By Yamaha, a three-event championship motorcycle road racing series that includes the Yamaha SoCal Nationals at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, CA on April 26-27; the Pacific Nationals at Sonoma Raceway in Sonoma, CA on May 3-4; and the Mountain Nationals at Miller Motorsports Park in Tooele, UT on May 24-25. MotoGP to Hold Official Test in Argentina; South American Nation Returning to Calendar for 2014
Thu, 11 Apr 2013Dorna Sports announced there will be a MotoGP test at Argentina’s Circuito Internacional Termas de Rio Hondo in July to allow teams to prepare for the track’s expected addition to the 2014 MotoGP calendar. Argentina was actually supposed to join the MotoGP tour this season, but the round was scrapped because of a dispute between the country and Spain after the Argentine government seized control of a Repsol subsidiary. Repsol is, of course, a prominent sponsor of several teams including Honda‘s factory team.
