2006 Yamaha 50CC Motorcycle TT-R50EB I am listing this motorcycle for a friend that does not have an Ebay account Runs excellent. Starts right away. Always garaged on a battery tender. The bike was purchased from the local Yamaha dealer, Martin Motorsprots, Boyertown, PA 19512. One owner bike. The motorcycle has very minor surface scratches on the plastic but looks new. The tires are original and in very good shape. Little tread wear on the tires indicate just how little the bike has been ridden. Motor looks and runs very good. The throttle works great with no sticking. Same for the choke. The front and back brakes work perfectly. The chain is greased and in great shape. Owner has a clear title in hand, along with all of the original manuals that came with the bike when it was new. I put zero miles in as the odometer reading because I have to put something in, however, these motorcycles do not have odometers. This entry level trail bike is in very good condition and would make a perfect Christmas present. Don't hesitate to bid on this.... you will not be disappointed. Cyril Despres Signs with Yamaha
Thu, 30 May 2013Five-time Dakar Rally winner Cyril Despres has signed on with Yamaha Motor France to race on the Yamaha YZ450F. Despres won the Dakar Rally in 2005, 2007, 2010, 2012 and 2013 with KTM but parted ways with the Austrian manufacturer in March. For 2014, Despres is trading in KTM Orange for Yamaha Blue, riding with support rider and fellow Frenchman Michael Metge.
Movistar To Be Yamaha MotoGP Title Sponsor For 5-Years
Wed, 05 Mar 2014Finding sponsors for U.S. racing might be next to impossible, but this isn’t the case elsewhere, as Movistar, a telecommunications arm of Spanish company Telefonica, has signed on to be the title sponsor for the Factory Yamaha MotoGP team for the next five years. Short of the 20-year relationship between Honda and Repsol, this comes as one of the more significant sponsorship deals in recent memory.
Pirelli To Remain Tire Supplier For All World Superbike Classes Through 2018
Wed, 10 Sep 2014Pirelli’s relationship with the World Superbike Championship started in 2004 and will carry on through 2018, as the Italian company will continue to supply tires for every class of the championship. What follows is the official Pirelli press release. Pirelli has been confirmed as the Official Tire Supplier for all classes of the eni FIM Superbike World Championship having won the tender organized by Dorna, promoter and organizer of the World Championship, in agreement with the FIM, the International Motorcycling Federation.
