Bike Week Is Here!
Wed, 06 Mar 2013It’s been a long, cold winter in most of the US, but it’s always sunny in Florida. And that’s why every year around this time tens of thousands of motorcycle enthusiasts descend on Daytona Beach for Bike Week! Motorcycle.com will have our boots – and wheels – on the ground.
You. Call. That. Lean
Fri, 14 May 2010Jean Philippe Ruggia, 1988, Coppice at Donington Park, Sonauto-Yamaha 250. This is elbow lean action. There was a previous blog entry of Ben Spies and his elbow grazing the tarmac onboard the M1 Yamaha, I admit it is impressive but I find myself admiring the horizontal angles that Ruggia submitted his 250 Yamaha to, with the above image taken at Coppice as a prime example.
Ben Spies talks MotoGP
Tue, 15 Jun 2010TECH 3 Yamaha man Ben Spies gives a fairly in-depth interview about Mugello MotoGP, his championship hopes and his riding style with On The Throttle TV. The multiple AMA superbike champ, who's racing for the first time on many of the MotoGP tracks, reveals he spends most of Friday practice learning the circuit, while others are focusing on set-up and fast lap times. Spies fan or not, it's well worth a watch.
