Nice V-Star Custom for any rider. Easy miles never beat on. Wife purchased from original owner and rode it for the last 9 years. Always dealer maintained. Stored in heated garage for last 9 years. Upgrades include front tire 300 miles, rider floorboards, saddle bags, windshield bag, detachable windshield, sissy bar and bag, cobra pipes, bullet style turn lights, handle bars, lowered and I'm sure there are a few more. Rides great, mechanically great, sounds great and always starts right up. Perfect if someone is starting out as it's low and very well balanced. Delivery might be possible but, that depends on my schedule. For sale locally so I might withdraw at anytime. Will only accept cashiers check or cash in person. Yamaha Recalls R1 and Super Tenere for Overheating Headlights

Yamaha has started a recall campaign on 2009-2013 YZF-R1 sportbikes and 2012-2013 Super Ténéré models because of a risk of headlight failure due to overheating. The recall campaign affects 19,045 units of the R1 and 4,683 units of the Super Ténéré in the U.S. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, heat generated by the headlight bulb socket may cause the terminal ends to expand, resulting in arcing between the terminal connector and bulb contact.

Yamaha Recalls V Star 950, V Star 1300 and Super Tenere For Possible Fuel Leak

On Oct. 28th, 2011 Yamaha filed a recall campaign with the NHTSA (campaign ID number: 11V533000) regarding possible fuel leaks on 2009 thru 2012 model-year V Star 950 and V Star 950 Tourer manufactured October 2008 through August 2011. The recall also includes the 2007 V Star 1300 model with manufacture dates August 2006 to March 2007.

I haven’t seen anything that I haven’t already seen or heard about previously, but here’s a selection from three of the halls. Yamaha are the only manufacturer to use an industrial crane to place some of its bikes up on high rise stands.
