Yamaha V Star description

This is a 1999 Yamaha V-Star Classic 650cc. It is a middleweight cruiser, one of the best ever released. The V-Star is widely renowned as one of the best cruisers ever made. Back when it came out, it was also one of the most affordable and long-lasting. This bike has just over 17,000 miles on it which is really great for its year, make and model. Hasn't been in any accidents and is in pretty good condition. It is ready to ride and only requires some minor work to be in tip top shape, so you'd better be a real bike lover and take care of this baby (ex. buy new saddle bags and replace the clutch plates sooner rather than later -- I've already purchased new clutch plates and will throw them in for free, you install!). This bike rides well and is louder than some of the newer bikes, so even though most people want louder pipes, you'll probably be fine with the stock ones which I've painted matte black. It has that great classic chrome look. New front rim, new battery, custom light up skull, aftermarket speakers added on as well by previous owner (though the wiring has been disconnected due to lack of use). Honestly, it will be hard to part with. It was my first bike. I intended to give to my younger brother, but I don't trust him not to wreck it. I recently upgraded to a 1300 and want the cash to customize the new bike. The price is more than fair and I don't intend to go down.

Iowa comes in third with 18 people for every motorcycle, beating the national average by 50%. In 2011, Iowa had 172,929 motorcycles registered, representing 2.1% of all motorcycles in America. If you want to join this exclusive club of being a rider, you can't go wrong with this one!

For two months, the mechanics managed to turn the "ugly duckling" born in 1989 into a masterpiece. A new subframe and seat were made for the motorcycle, a Renthal handlebar and branded CRD controls were installed. The engine has been completely restored, the crankcase covers are sanded and varnished.
